Aurora knew it wasn't good. She motioned for the other two to dive under, she swam through the waterweed, looking for Gideon.

Gideon was drowning, without a Bubble-Head Charm. He was still unconscious.

Matt dove down in the water, plumitting down through the water.

He saw Gideon thrashing about near the bottom, and conjured a bubble charm around his head.

He's still not looking clever... "Rennervate!" Gideon's eyes started to open slightly.

Ella held her breathe (well, technically she obviously had to) as she waited for Gideon to recover.

Matt shrugged and kicked Gideons leg free of the waterreeds and he floated to the surface.

Gideon woke up, feeling drowsy. He then suddenly drooped down and nearly was out of breath.

"Gideon! Gideon!" Aurora gasped, "Are you OK?" She didn't wait for an answer, but tried to move him to the shore. All of a sudden the pinky-orange tentacle clasped around Gideon. "No!" cried Aurora.
But the tentacle picked him up high and placed him on the shore.

"Ok, don't panic." Matt said, looking around nervously, "But there isn't just a giant squid in that lake...there is some sort of underwater dragon."

"He's still recovering. I'll take care and catch up with you. I think his arm's hurt a little. "Ferula," she muttered, pointing her wand at Gideon's arm and a bandage appeared and wrapped around Gideon's arm.

Aurora smiled and followed him in. "Wait, Bubble-head charms!" She waved her wand and each of them had big bubbles covering their noses and mouths.

They dived deeper and deeper into the lake, but saw nothing. Eventually, they all reached the bottom of the lake. "Should we spread out?" Ella asked, her voice slightly distorted becuase of the bubble around her head.

"I guess so, but everyone grab some of this rope, 3 tugs to tell us if you have seen it..." he said, handing out some rope underwater.

Aurora clased onto the rope, and started swimming among some waterweed.

Suddenly, Gideon heard thrashing and a flat thing which seemed to be a wing slapped him in the side hard, he was sent flying forward, landing on Matt's back.
