Matt had the wind knocked out of him, but still drew his wand to see what had hit him.

Suddenly, a loud screech filled Gideon's ears and then grindylows came out and started attacking them.

Ella turned around to see Gideon being attacked by the grindylows. "Flagrate!" she said, pointing her wand at the grindylows. They recoiled angrily as angry burn marks were slashed upon their skin. They immediately released Gideon.

"All right," said Ella, grabbing Gideon from under his armpits. She kicked off from the bottom of the lake. "My gosh...lay off on the fries, will ya?"

"Magic is better then using physical energy" He said with a wink.

He flicked his wand upward and Gideon shot to the surface, landing with a soft thud on the banks sandy grass.

Aurora was taking care of the rest of the Grindylows. "Immobulous!" she cried, flicking her wand this way and that.

They began to swim slowly as they searched for the dragon. "It's not coming out," Ella said. "Maybe we should destroy the peace..."

Aurora followed Gideon, she was sure that he could sense something.

Ella followed them as well and they swam through the water silently.

"The dragons not going to come..." Ella said. At that exact moment, a red claw came out of nowhere and seized her by the waist, dragging her downwards. It all happened too fast - Ella blacked out and the dragon disappeared, taking Ella with it.
