Defense Against the Dark Arts Class

Gideon walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts Class with the real Mad-Eye Moody. "Sir, what are we going to learn for Class today?" asked Gideon, questioningly.

Just when Mad-Eye was about to say something, Ella barged into the classroom. Moody's magical eye swivled towards her. Blushing, Ella scooted toward a seat near the back.

"Hey Gideon," she said.

Gideon smiled and then said, "Hey Ella." Just then, Mad-Eye said, "We'll be learning about werewolves, and every other kind of creature in this Wizarding World." Gideon groaned with sleepiness and then opened his book to the exact page.

Ella sighed and flipped to the page. Mad-eye began his lecture, but Ella was barely listening. She jumped several times whenever Moody barked, "CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" at random.

Matt walked into DADA class, and sat down at the nearest available seat. He waited for Mad-Eye to notice he was late.

"Matthew Foreman, late again?" Mad-Eye growled.

"Tut tut." smiled Aurora as Matt slid into the seat next to her.
"And that's enough of your cheek too, DeVault!" snapped Moody and Aurora hid a sneaky eye-roll and started writing on her parchment.

"Since when did you get told off?" Matt whispered, as he pretended to get out his work equipment.

Gideon was busily muttering incantations, accidentally lighting his book on fire. He couldn't help but laughing as he wiped the fire out.

An hour into the lesson, Ella was becoming unbearably bored. Deciding to risk it, she quickly scrawled a message on a piece of parchment, crumped it up, and carefully threw it on Aurora's desk. Luckily, both of Moody's eyes were focused on the chalkboard.

I'm going to die here! Save me!!!! the message wrote.

"Since Mad-eye does thoery classes.," Aurora whispered back to Matt "What happened to the practical?"

Aurora read the note and stuck her tongue out and quickly wrote a message in her round scribble. She folded it up into a bird shape and threw it, wings fluttering and landed nicely on her desk without Moody seeing. The message read What happened to the practical element of his classes? If you're bored, just pull a Gideon and set your book on fire!

"I dunno, but I have to admit, it is kinda fun - even if I am shit at it."

Gideon did the same movement and accidentally set the chalkboard on fire. Gideon laughed so hard he fell from his chair.

Ella stifled a guffaw as Moody spun around to observe the class, magical eye going haywire. "Funny, you think?" he hissed, glaring at the class.

"Yeah," said Gideon, still laughing. He accidentally did the movements again and set the whole classroom on fire.

Moody roared angrily and extingushed the fire with a flick of his wand. Then, he thumped towards Gideon, growling.

"Ahh," said Gideon in a mock small and scared voice. "I'm so scared of you, Moody..."

Ella raised her eyebrows and looked at Moody, ready for his reaction. "You should be," he said dangerously. "Detention. Saturday 5pm. Don't you dare be late, laddie."

Gideon laughed heartily, his laugh ringing around the classroom. "What? A million detentions with Snape, you think I'll be scared of your detentions?"

Matt gazed open mouthed at Gideon. It was if Gideon wanted to get thrown out of the school. Idiotic git Matt thought.

Jeez, he's getting too big for his boots, that one. Aurora thought, before whispering it in Matt's ear.

"Agreed...100%" he whispered back, giving her a small wink.

Gideon was nearly out of his mind, because Snape for one of his detentions had put a pretty serious Obliviate Charm on him, not so powerful to forget everything, but to be not serious about everything.

Matt slumped down to watch the 'show' as he put it.

Gideon was flung backward by Moody, unconscious. There was blood coming from every inch of Gideon's body. Dumbledore and McGonagall had heard the crash and came rushing in.

Ella immediately stepped backwards to let Dumbledore and McGonagall rush past.
