Potions Lesson

Ella entered the dungeons and shivered slightly. It was wintertime, and the dungeons were unbearably cold. As soon as she entered the Potions classroom, everything was silenced. She dipped her head respectively to Snape and sat down. There was 5 minutes until class began, so she opened up her Advanced Book of Potions and began reading.

Matt walked up to the door to the Potions classroom, and pushed the door open.

Phew, still on time... he thought as he walked over and sat next to Ella. "Heya Ella" he said, as he placed his cauldren in front of him.

"Hey Matt!" Ella said, looking up from her book. She opened her mouth to say more, but Snape immediately silenced them by starting class.

"Today you will be creating the Draught of Living Death. Of course, I don't expect any of you to make it, since it is extremely difficult to brew..." He smirked once and turned to the board. He flicked his wand and instructions appeared on the board.

"Damn...This look hard," Ella said, scanning the board.

"Oh awesome, I once did this!" Matt whispered to Ella.

"really?" Ella said. "I hear it's supposed to be really hard!"

"Yeah it is.." he said smiling. "Want me to help you after I have finished mine?"

"Sure," Ella replied, looking to see if Snape was lurking nearby. She read the first line of instructions and felt utterly confused.

"Try starting from line 2" he said, without looking up.
