Time for...Quidditch!

It was a bright, sunny, clear day as Ella Maple headed down to the Quidditch pitch, her Comet 260 in one hand and a borrowed Snitch in the other. Deciding to practise her Seeking skills, she released the snitch, climbed onto her broom, and kicked off. She scanned the grounds for the Snitch and spotted a glint of gold near one of the goal hoops. She speeded towards it and snatched the snitch, but it slipped through her fingers. Furious, she tried again as it darted downwards. She accelerated and caught it, almost letting go of it. She released and caught the Snitch over and over again.

Suddenly, Gideon flew out of nowhere, his Firebolt under him. He grabbed the Snitch before Ella and smiled with mock cold.

"Hey!" Ella said. She looked offended but her voice was amused. "Wait...is that a Firebolt?" she asked, eyes bulging.

Matt walked over to the stands by the field, and sat down, putting his newly brought Nimbus down next to him.

Aurora mounted her Bluebottle, with a Quaffle under her arm, her Blue and Bronze school tie around the end, proud of her house.

Gideon nodded, smiling. "Father gave it to me," he said. "It broke once."

"Can I...touch it?" she asked with a pained sort of look on her face, not even noticing Matt or Aurora entering the field.

Sometimes I'm Yasmine (mainly for non-hp rps) so I decided to be Yasmine for this one, but to save complication, I'll change it.

Aurora saw Ella drool over Gideon's Firebolt, and kicked off from the ground, flew in a circle, and hovered by Matt, a fellow Ravenclaw. "I didn't know you played?" she smiled, tossing the Quaffle in the air.

"Yeah, I have a chance at becoming a Chaser this year, or so I am told. Took up Quidditch only last year." He replied, throwing his nimbus up into the air, and landing on it in mid air.

"So wanna play catch?"

As if to answer, Aurora threw a ball towards Matt. "I hope to see you on the team!"

"Heh" was all he could reply with, as he caught the ball and shot off.

Gideon laughed and then said, "Yeah, touch it all you want!" But then immediately zoomed off in the distance, catching the Quaffle suddenly.

"Hey!" called Aurora, "Ravenclaw practice!"

Matt flipped his broom, so that he was facing Aurora and threw her the Quaffle.

"Catch..."

((Wow, you're just ignoring me?)) Gideon summoned a cup of butterbeer, sitting on his broom, waiting for Gryffindor practice.

As the Ravenclaw Quidditch Practices started, Ella took a seat a couple rows behind Gideon, yawning.

((I'm in the air...)) Gideon threw his butterbeer cup onto the ground below, smashing it to pieces.

"Ella, you can come and join us if you want..." Matt called out to her.

"Thanks," Ella said, glad to be invited. She hopped onto her "now seemingly old" Comet 360 and kicked off from the ground, soaring into the air. She had the Snitch in her hands, which was fluttering uselessly. She released the snitch and it took off into the air.

Gideon waited for the others to accept him, zooming around the Hogwarts Grounds, around the Castle.

"Hey Gideon! You can join us!" Ella called over to him, looking towards Aurora and Matt to see if it was okay. Then she sped off in search for the Snitch.

Gideon didn't even hear Ella calling him, because he was zooming around Hogwarts Castle for fun.

"Wanna play catch Ella?" Matt asked.

Aurora caught the ball and passed it to Ella.

Matt flipped his broom from underneath him, and cricled it around his neck as he fell down towards the Quidditch field.

He quickly shoved the broom underneath him, and pulled up.
